Mid Term Evaluation Mission at Jamalpur
The midterm evaluation mission of European Union has visited Jamalpur to evaluate the impact of ongoing activities of overall Access to Land project’ including Sustainable Access to Land Equality-SALE project on 29-30 April, 2015. Julia Jacoby, Project Manager of Human Rights and Governance Programme of Delegation of European Union of Bangladesh, Mark A Marquardt, Team Leader of the Mid Term Evaluation Mission of EU and Rowshan Jahan Moni, Evaluator of the Midterm Evaluation mission visited the area along with management members of PTAT, PMU, CARE and Uttaran.

During this visit, the team met with the Deputy Commission (DC), Upazila Nirbahi Officer-UNO, AC (Land), Assistant Settlement Officer-ASO, Zonal Settlement Officer-ZSO and Surveyors. The team participated courtyard meeting with vulnerable landowners including women and minority. They went to Vagra village and talked with Garo (indigenous people) community and enjoyed indigenous song and dance. They participated in the meeting of bhumi committee (local civil society) and youth volunteers and discuss about the perception of people on ongoing land record and survey.
