A Story of Md. Musa

Md. Musa, son of late Md. Sultan ahamed and Nur begum lives in Nayapara, Whykong, Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar. Musas’ suffering began when he was born, and his father died fourteen days after his birth. Musa did not know what his father’s love was like since childhood. The burdens of Musa’s family are immense . The elder brother manages the family by working as a day laborer. It does not meet all the needs, so Musa was looking for a job for a long time. But no one without experience wants to give him a job.

Musa found out that Uttaran was giving free technical training in their union, so he immediately contacted Uttaran’s training center and was admitted to the House Wiring course. He has already successfully completed two months of three months of training. Now he feels that he can learn this job well and by completing this course he will be able to do this job well.

Moreover at the end of daily classes he works with some house wiring mechanics in their area which is inspiring him even more. Now if he gets cooperation from this project then he will start this work by buying some goods for himself. He wants to be self-sufficient and keep everyone in the family well. He is confident that if he can finish this training well and get support he will be able to support himself and his family. And when he was asked about the training and what he wanted to do in the future, he replied, “I like the training very much, especially the lunch and allowance, otherwise I might not have received it. I thank UNDP and Uttaran who have stood by my helpless life”.
